We have some exciting news to share! Beginning this fall, Concordia Lutheran School will be launching a Gifted, Talented, and Enrichment Program, which we will be calling GT&E. We know, from years of working with children, that there are some students who have a need to be academically challenged with advanced curricula specially designed for them. We will also be offering enrichment programs that can benefit all of our students so they can get the most out of their time at CLS.
The new GT & E program is just one of the ways we are able to offer a rigorous and engaging curriculum to our students. We continue to offer the most advance technology, including SmartBoards in each classrooms as well as iPad and Chromebook accessibility to all students. This year we are adopting new curriculum in math and social studies. Our new text books are the cutting edge hybrid of traditional text books and online features. In addition, we offer numerous classes that offer academic rigor such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, On-line Technology Applications, Broadcasting, and Robotics. Further, we offer U.S. History CLEP class where students are able to earn college credit before they finish 8th grade. Other great features include competitive sports programs and after school activities as well as before and after school care.
While many schools prepare students for the next level of education, Concordia prepares students for eternity. Each day, students develop strong character and clear understanding of God’s will for their lives. Ultimately, they know their future is secure through their faith in Christ.
At Concordia, we continue to share the love of Christ with one another, the family, the community, and the world through a quality, Christ-centered education program. Our classes begin in Pre-Kindergarten and go through 8th grade. We currently have openings in select grades and tours are available upon request. When you visit the campus, you will notice many of the security features we have in place like locked external doors with video monitoring that require controlled access, consistently enforced visitor check-in procedures, and excellent staff supervision throughout the day. You may also notice our certified nurse checking on students, our youth pastor giving students high 5’s in the morning as they arrive, and teachers greeting students and parents at the door.
